Camping Kastraki is located in Ancient Asini, which is the coastal area of the modern-day village of Asini. Parallel to the campsite is a long stretch of beach, as there are no local access roads to this beach there is a seamless connexion from the campgrounds to the seashore. The locals call this beach “Plaka”, it’s one of the most beautiful and naturally preserved untouched beaches within the Argolis region.

Adjacent to the campsite, on a cliff by the sea, stand the famous Cyclopean walls of the Ancient Asini citadel. The campsite was named after this archaeological site, due to its close proximity. Kastraki in Greek means ‘small castle”.

For those who enjoy a good stroll in nature, the towns of Tolo, Asini and Drepano are located within a kilometre distance from the camping grounds. These towns offer traditional Greek Taverns along with an assortment of touristic shops and seaside cafes.
